A real case from my clinic.
Fertility success stories like this always remind me why I love the work I do.
A 30-year-old lady came to see me after trying to conceive for almost 2 years.
Month after month, nothing happened.
She felt frustrated and starting to lose confidence in her body.
Although her medical tests were mostly “normal”, she was experiencing many symptoms:
• cold hands and feet
• painful menstrual cramps
• post-ovulation spotting
• low energy and fatigue
• feeling generally cold and weak
From a Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective, these were clear signs that her body wasn’t well prepared for pregnancy.
My assessment showed:
Cold in the uterus, poor circulation, blood deficiency, and weak digestion (Spleen Qi deficiency).
In simple terms — the womb wasn’t warm or nourished enough to support implantation.
So instead of rushing straight into procedures, we focused on strengthening her foundation first.
Our treatment plan included:
Acupuncture to improve pelvic circulation and regulate hormones
Chinese herbs to warm the uterus and nourish blood
Diet and lifestyle changes to build energy and support her cycle
Her body responded very quickly.
After just ONE treatment → her post-ovulation spotting stopped
After TWO treatments → her basal body temperature became warmer and more stable
Within a few months → less cramping, better energy, smoother cycles, warmer hands and feet
Gradually, her body became stronger and more balanced.
After about 7 months of consistent care (sessions every 2 weeks), she proceeded with IVF.
This time:
✓ her uterine lining was healthy
✓ follicles developed well
✓ egg quality improved
And her IVF was successful!
She is now 20 weeks pregnant.
Seeing messages like hers truly makes my day.
Because fertility is not only about age or procedures.
It’s about creating the right internal environment.
When circulation improves, hormones regulate, and the body is nourished — pregnancy often happens much more smoothly.
If you’re trying to conceive naturally or alongside IVF, please know that you don’t have to do this alone.
There is so much you can do to support your body naturally.
